SiliconRiver keeps cookies to a minimum.
Essential cookies
When you sign in we set authentication cookies so you stay logged in as you move between pages. Without them, signing in wouldn't work. They're removed when you log out.
Local storage
Your browser stores a few preferences on your device — your light/dark theme choice, an unsent post draft, and whether you've dismissed the getting-started checklist. This never leaves your device.
Analytics
We measure how SiliconRiver is used so we can improve it. Vercel Analytics counts page views without cookies or personal identifiers. We also use PostHog for product analytics (which features get used, and where people get stuck). PostHog only stores cookies or local storage on your device if you choose Accept on the analytics prompt; until then it runs without storing anything, and if you choose Decline it doesn't collect anything. We never record what you type, and analytics data is never used for advertising.
To change your choice, clear this site's data in your browser and you'll be asked again.
No advertising cookies
We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
