This page explains what SiliconRiver collects, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Account details: email address, username, display name, and date of birth.
- Content you post: photos, captions, builds, benchmark scores, replies, reactions and follows.
- Technical data: basic logs and error reports needed to keep the service running and secure.
What's public
Your username, display name, profile photo, bio, posts, builds, benchmarks, replies, reactions and follows are public. Your email address and date of birth are never shown publicly. Your date of birth is only used to confirm you meet the minimum age.
Photos
When you upload an image we re-encode it and strip embedded metadata such as GPS location and camera details before it's published.
Who we share data with
We don't sell your personal data. We use service providers to run SiliconRiver — database and authentication hosting, image storage, error monitoring, and usage analytics (Vercel Analytics and PostHog) — and they process data only on our behalf. If you sign in with Google, Google shares your name, email and profile photo with us.
Your choices
- Edit your profile or delete individual posts and replies at any time.
- Delete your account from Settings. This permanently removes your profile and everything you've posted, including uploaded photos.
